Weekend sleepover

 

As we started working together we tried pointing out similarities of what our weekends look like and quickly realised, that our cultures may be even more different than we’ve imagined.
 

For the Zurich folks it was pretty obvious to see the night life as a big part of their free time if not also workplaces, whereas in Marrakech this type of activity hardly even exist openly.

Since these two cultures differ in their activities in the evening and night, we started to wonder whether the designs of the flyers and posters for those events differentiate as well.

All in all, we collected a number of flyers and posters for events in Zurich and Marrakech and compared them in terms of design, communication, symbolic and type.

All research materials and founded knowledge is displayed in an animated short film.
